Text is reproduced verbatim from the sources above and covers the 66 books of the Protestant canon. Where the WEB’s base text omits a verse found in the KJV (for example Acts 8:37), the reader says so rather than hiding the gap. Data prepared 2026-10-28.

How the Companion stays honest
- The Scripture passages relevant to your question are retrieved first and given to the AI as evidence.
- The AI is asked to tag each claim with the numbered evidence it relies on. VerseScope removes any citation that doesn’t match evidence it actually retrieved. A citation shows which passage the AI drew on — it is not proof that the passage supports every word of the sentence.
- Every Bible reference in an answer is checked against the selected translation; references that don’t exist are flagged.
- Teaching sources are used only after a person has reviewed that specific resource. Review confirms accurate attribution and relevance, not endorsement.
- Answers are AI-generated and can still be wrong. Read the passages for yourself.
Privacy
- Notes, bookmarks, reading progress and conversations are private to your account.
- You can turn off conversation history, export all your data, or permanently delete your account in Account settings.
- Questions you ask, together with the retrieved Bible passages, are sent to an AI service to generate an answer: Google Gemini first, or Cloudflare Workers AI as a backup. VerseScope uses Gemini’s free tier, under which Google may use prompts and responses to improve its products and people may review them — so please don’t include personal or sensitive information in your questions.
- Usage statistics we keep are aggregate counts only.
